At Kula Kara Villas Uluwatu, the Head Butler leads by example — ensuring every guest feels genuinely cared for and every detail is perfectly executed. You’ll oversee daily villa operations, guide the butler team, and work closely with management to uphold Kula Kara’s signature service: personal, thoughtful, and consistent.
Requirements
Proven experience in hospitality, especially as a butler or in a similar role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members
Solid background in both F&B service and housekeeping operations
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
Basic computer skills and ability to operate property management software (Staff will receive training to ensure proficiency in its use)
High attention to detail, discretion, and strong problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
Supervise the villa team to deliver exceptional service across all guest touchpoints.
Coordinate daily villa operations, including check-ins, F&B service, housekeeping standards, and guest activities.
Anticipate guest needs and ensure every request is handled promptly and gracefully.
Manage communication with guests via WhatsApp or in person, ensuring a warm yet professional tone.
Prepare and serve breakfast, ensuring quality, presentation, and timing meet Kula Kara standards.
Liaise with third-party partners to maintain seamless coordination.
Monitor villa presentation, cleanliness, and readiness before each guest arrival.
Maintain service SOPs and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Report directly to the General Manager with daily updates and feedback.

Job Description:
The Butler is responsible for providing personalized guest service with attention to detail, discretion, and anticipation of needs. This role supports both guest-facing and operational tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day villa experiences. Entry-level butlers will receive training to develop skills in service, communication, and villa operations.
Assist guests with daily needs such as breakfast service, room setup, and arranging in-villa experiences.
Maintain professional communication and cultural warmth with all guests.
Anticipate guest preferences and communicate them to the team.
Preparing simple breakfast (eggs, oatmeal).
Assist with housekeeping duties as needed (e.g., turn-down, room setup).

Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out.
Communicate with guests via WhatsApp, phone, and email to handle inquiries, confirm bookings, and arrange requests.
Coordinate guest activities such as transportation, restaurant bookings, spa services, and other special arrangements.
Liaise with third-party vendors (e.g., spa therapists, transport providers, tour operators) to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
Provide accurate information on villa amenities, nearby attractions, and local recommendations.
Administration & Operations:
Maintain and update guest records, booking systems, and daily operational reports.
File paperwork and organize administrative documents systematically.
Sort, record, and monitor financial paperwork including receipts, payment forms, and petty cash.
Ensure the front desk and reception area are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the butler, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Report guest feedback or operational issues promptly.
Support supervisors in daily briefings and contribute ideas for improvement.
